⚠️ Hazardous Waste Notice ⚠️

At Wasatch Wizardz Junk Removal, our mission is to make your junk vanish—quickly, safely, and responsibly. 🧙‍♂️✨

However, due to State of Utah regulations, we are not allowed to accept or dispose of hazardous waste on behalf of our customers. This includes any hazardous items generated from homes or businesses.

❌ What We Cannot Take (Hazardous Waste Items)

Per UTAH STATE LAW and landfill requirements, we are unable to haul or dispose of:

  • Paints, solvents, lacquer, stain, thinner, wood preservatives, or varnishes

  • Automotive fluids (gasoline, motor oil, antifreeze, auto chemicals)

  • Pesticides, herbicides, or cleaning chemicals

  • Asbestos

  • Pool or hot tub chemicals

  • Batteries (car, lithium, or rechargeable)

  • Propane tanks or other pressurized containers

  • Mercury items (thermometers, thermostats)

  • Fluorescent or CFL light bulbs

  • Biological Waste, Medical Waste, Contaminated Material
  • Sewage
  • Aerosol cans that are not empty

  • Electronics (TVs, monitors, etc., may be regulated)

These items must be disposed of at a licensed hazardous waste facility or HHW drop-off site, not through general landfills or junk removal services.

✅ What You CAN Do

We’re happy to help you identify local options for safe disposal! Many counties offer free or low-cost drop-off programs for household hazardous waste.

Let us know what you’ve got—we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

🛡️ Why This Matters

Improper disposal of hazardous materials isn’t just against the law—it can be dangerous to people, pets, and the environment. We're committed to protecting our crew, our customers, and our beautiful Utah communities.

Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our services safe, eco-friendly, and fully compliant.
